Zero Hour is the flagship event of the Gauntlet. It is a weekly show that will pit CAWs against each other in standard singles and tag team matches. Both matches are equal in point value. A win is worth 3 points, a loss will subtract 3. Hardcore rules do apply. Singles matches will have a 15 minute time limit while tag matches will be allowed 30 minutes. Draws result in one point being awarded to each of the participants. The Zero Hour will procede the special event of the week and is, in essence, a warmup for the grueling speciality matches that are to come. Zero Hour will be held each Wednesday. Requests for matches must be posted to the message board by Tuesday night. If you don't request a match one will be randomly selected for you.

*SPECIAL* Each week at Zero Hour you have the option open to you of choosing to participate in a Handicap match. Again this is conditional on the agreement of everyone involved. This type of match can pay dividends if your CAW is good enough to defeat two other CAWs at once. Tread carefully though as it can be an equally huge loss for you.

The first of the speciality events, Assault and Battery will have each CAW battling a counterpart in a ladder match. First to scale the rungs and grab the case wins and takes home five points, while the loser subtracts five points from his total. Singles Ladder matches will have a 30 minute time limit. In the event of a draw both CAWs will be awarded one point. Match requests must be posted to the message board prior to the day of the event.

Time to get a little disorderly. This step of the Gauntlet calls for two CAWs to team up and take on other CAW teams in a wild Tornado Team Tournament. Two teams, four men (or women) in the ring. Depending on the number of CAWs this will probably be broken down into 2 or 3 tourneys. The winner(s) walk away from this event with a nice prize of 11 points. A big boost early in the Gauntlet for whoever comes out on top. The advantage here is that, unlike some of the other events, only a few CAWs will be awarded points. A chance to start separating from the pack.

Like the title says, this event is all about the cage. Two CAWs contained inside the steel grating. No running to the back. No evening the odds with weapons. This is caged rage at it's most brutal. Who will fare better? The quick CAW or the powerful CAW? You decide. Only thing that's certain is the first CAW up and over the top scoops up a hefty 7 points while the defeated has to swallow a hefty 7 point loss. Cage matches have a 30 minute time limit. Make your match requests on the message board.

Madness brings the insanity of the Triple Threat match to the Gauntlet. Is it 1-on-2? 2-on-1? One for all and all for one? It's ring chaos that's for sure. Truly one of the toughest matches to win, the Madness three-ways will grant the victor a whopping 8 points. It's a tough loss as well with the two losers having to part with 8 of their own hard-earned points. Match time limit will be 60 minutes. Make match requests on the message board.

Made some friends yet? Better hope so because Take No Prisoners calls for team work. Four teams composed of 3-4 CAWs will be duking it out elimination style for the prize of 10 points. Depending on the number of CAWs in the Gauntlet there most likely will be two or three of these battles. All members of the winning team receive the 10 points regardless if they were eliminated in the process or if they ever even made it in the ring. No opponent requests for this one, but you are free to get together and form teams. You can also determine the order in which your CAWs come to the ring. A big payday here folks. Choose your allies wisely.

This is truly one of the most dynamic events in the Gaunlet. Here's how it goes: You pick or are assigned a partner. You and your partner then take on another team of two CAWs in a 30-minute Team IronMan war. Obviously the team to rack up the most falls wins. But there's more to it than that. The scoring at Vengeance works a little differently than other events. For each fall your team scores during the 30 minutes you receive 1 point. For each fall your team gives up you lose 1 point. In addition to that, the team with the most falls at the end of the time limit also receives a 5 point bonus for the win. So basically this a chance to hoard a bunch of points or on the flip side to lose a bunch. Let's say for example your team wins by scoring 9 falls to your opponents' 2 falls. You would get 7 points (9-2) plus the bonus 5 for a total of 12 points. And both team members each get the 12. Not a bad day. However, the guys on the losing end of this example are not in such good shape. They walk away having to subtract 7 points from their total (2-9= -7). With all the variables involved here Vengeance can truly make or break Gauntlet champions.

Thought you were done with ladders? Not quite. This time around you'll be teaming up with a partner and racing another team up the ladder for a piece of the glory. Like the singles ladder match this hardware fest is worth 5 points to the winners and 5 points off for the losers. As always, hardcore rules apply and match/partner requests can be made on the message board.

At this point in time we're running down close to the end of the big, bad Gauntlet. It's time to start drawing lines in the sand and preparing for the final surge into the big SledgeHammer show. How about a mini-Gauntlet? At Situation Critical that's just what your CAW will be facing as he ventures into a ruthless singles tournament. Winner to get a huge 11-point boost towards the finale. Time to find out just how fine-tuned your CAW is.

This is your last chance to earn enough points to qualify for the SledgeHammer show and a shot at winning the whole Gauntlet. And it ain't gonna be easy. This is your standard, over-the-top-rope, rock 'em, sock'em battle royal. And when you enter the picture is a totally random choice of fate. You may be first. You may be last. You may be stuck right in the middle. Depending on the number of CAWs participating in the Gauntlet there probably will be a couple rumbles held at this event. The winner walks away with the largest purse yet, 13 points. Good luck.

It all comes down to SledgeHammer. The show of shows. Where one CAW will rise above the pretenders and be declared the best damn CAW in creation. Only those who have qualified will be at SledgeHammer. The number of qualifying spots will depend on the total number of CAWs enlisted in the Gauntlet. Most likely the top 12 in points will be the final qualifiers. These 12 CAWs will be randomly split into 3 Fatal Four-Way matches. The three CAWs who emerge victorious will then meet in the final showdown, a Triple Threat war to determine the Gauntlet champion. Are you ready for this?
